The U.K. magazine Geomatics World , specialized in GIS, Geomatics and Surveying

In the January/February 2010 number includes the article "Texturized 3D models using photo scanning ", which presents ZScan photo scanning system.
The article is available into download area, for registered user and in our public FTP space.
A new ZScan experience was added by our user Lorenza Camin.
ZScan system was used to map roman architectural Cultural Heritages located in Lucca (Italy).

ZScan Dynamic is a part of mobile mapping project that involved Menci Software in collaboration with Codevintec and NTR.
With ZScan Dynamic is possible to get an accurate street survey and elaborate data designed for GIS database.
With ZScan Dynamic, developed by Menci Software, you can georefer each point visible on images took by cameras, while car is moving. The city contexts mapping become easier and fast.

A new experience was added to User Experience section. R.T.C. - Cremona got a really good result, by mixing ZScan, ZScan Ter systems and Z-Flat module for Z-Map.
Here the photogrammetric survery of Casalmaggiore church in Cremona (Italy).
ZScan Ter is a ZScan specialization, able to acquire 3D models from mechanical arms and scaffolds. It is ideal for architectural applications.
The dome was elaborated by Z-Flat module.
Menci Software presents the new rotary plate for ZScan photographic acquisitions.
This specific plate measures 30 cm of diameter and makes the 360° acquisition process of small object simpler and precise.
It is ideal for any survey and documentation activity and improves the new ZScan automatic 3D model bundle registration feature.
