3D nella Bauforschung: dal metro al laser

Giovedi' 29 ottobre 2009 l’Istituto Storico Austriaco, in collaborazione con l’Istituto Archeologico Germanico di Roma, organizzano una giornata di studio dedicata alle questioni tecniche dell’uso dei diversi metodi di rilievo in campo architettonico.

Nell'ambito dell'evento la dott.ssa Alessandra Tronelli illustrera' l'utilizzo della tecnologia ZScan per il rilievo della Moschea del Venerdì a Isfahan (Iran), di Kafi r Kala (Uzbekistan) e della cinta muraria della città di Alife, Caserta (Italia).

What is PolyCloud

PolyCloud is a CAD Drawing on point cloud software.

What it can do

PolyCloud is a stand-alone solution that allows to convert and handle 3d model up to 10 million points. It includes a proprietary CAD with all main 3D draw and edit tools such as copy, move, scale, rotate, offset, fillet, divide, sketch and more.

3D models are fully integrated into CAD environment like standard entities. The view is rotated and zoomed through a fast 3D Orbit interface. Dirty points or huge clouds can be cleaned or subdivided by using a simple selection method.

3D draw operations become easy thanks to UCS (User Coordinates System) planes defined by user directly on point clouds. Moreover you can orient and warp raster images on current UCS to view and use photographic details on cloud. Finally you can choose to draw on warped images or directly on points clouds.

You can export the final vector drawing to standard DWG/DXF formats.
