The UFly system is a high technology product designed for low-altitude acquisition and production of 3-dimensional spatial and metric information for environmental, historic sites, archaeological and cultural survey applications.

UFly systems are suitable for:

The system is composed of hardware and software components:

  • The hardware consists of a SenseFly Swinglet CAM (Menci Software is the official Italian reseller for Sensefly Swinglet solutions - for more info http://www.sensefly.com), which acts as a carrier for supporting a calibrated digital camera for image acquisition with photogrammetry principles.
    Swinglet CAM is comprised of on-board equipment including GPS, gyroscope, accelerometer, etc. and are therefore able to make extremely stable, agile and cost-efficient platforms. Option: the RGB camera can be replaced by GBNir camera if requested.

  • APS software is an automatic photogrammetric processing station and represents the latest innovative technological solution from Menci Software, specializing in 3D model generation by proximity images acquired with UAV at low altitude. This version handles images with GPS/IMU data. Images are acquired from Swinglet CAM or other UAV (Gatewing, etc.) and are processed by APS software (Note: APS need GPS data of images).

nr. 1 UFly software license including : APS-ortho (DTM, contour lines and orthomosaics) or APS-full (DTM, contour lines, orthomosaic, 3D model and DSM generation) and SiteManager (consultation and archival survey projects).

The new UAV system eBee provided by Sensefly has been released.eBee diagonal

This high tech UAV allows the user to perform high resolution survey safely.

  • eBee is further equipped with GPS, gyroscope, accelerometer, etc. and is therefore able to make extremely stable, agile and cost-efficient platforms. Option: the RGB camera can be replaced by GBNir camera if requested.
  • eBee thanks to its ground sensor can perform linear landing instead of a circle landing which is still available.
