Menci Software Srl, based in Italy, was founded in 1991 and is today a leading company in Europe within production of photogrammetry software, 3d models from images, software for mapping and land management, geoinformation and related activities. Menci is a research and development company whose mission is to implement the use of images for measurements at different scale in various application fields by the use of specific software. Specializing in remote sensing, digital photogrammetry, spatial analysis, map production and automated production systems, our technology turns images into information.

Menci produces professional software on demand, developing solutions to satisfy customers' specific requests: our job is to provide customers with the best tools available to help them turning raster data into geometrical information. Our technologies are applied to a wide array of challenges, including aerial mapping, architecture, cultural heritage, restoration, archaeology, accident reconstruction, forensic, industry, reverse engineering, natural resource monitoring, homeland security and defense, insurance risk assessment, maps and cartography production, image management, site selection, feature extraction, education.

Our flagship products are Z-Map and ZScan. Z-Map software platform allows the use of aerial, terrestrial and satellite photos and digital aerial sensors data to run traditional photogrammetric processes. Moreover, Z-Map allows data capture and management of laser scanning data (terrestrial or aerial). Two ready to use software solutions working on this platform are Z-Map Laser and Z-Map Photo.

ZScan is an innovative photogrammetry system capable of creating a dense cloud of 3d points using digital images. Through ZScan it is now possible to achieve results obtained until now only by the means of laser technologies. This assures remarkable advantages in terms of costs and ease of use. This system was finalized in our labs in 2007 as a result of years of research and testing. This outstanding product is being appreciated by a constantly growing number of enthusiastic users. Our aim is to apply this new technology to all fields related to construction of 3d models and images.

Menci Software combines the experience of local and international markets. We currently distribute our products through a net of 18 dealers around the world.
